Parasaurolophus walkeri

Life reconstruction of the hadrosaur Parasaurolophus walkeri, sculpted in Zbrush, retopologised in TopoGun, UV-unwrapped (and rendered) in Blender, textured in Substance Painter and edited in Photoshop. The project was inspired by Michael Chiappone and his 'hadrophone' project, reconstructing the auditory tube system in Parasaurolophus' head crest.
Additional thanks go to Lewis LaRosa, who provided some great photographs of skull specimens to get the beak shape right, and to Dr. Matt Dempsey, who provided quite a bit of helpful anatomy knowledge.

Final render and presentation. I tried something new this time, showing the relative size of the animal in comparison to a human silhouette (since I did not go for any one specimen in particular, I also left out scale bars).

Topology/edge flow. I set my models up rather low resolution usually, which most likely just stems from my time in developing game ready models.
